Most liquid shampoos contain sulphates that dry out your scalp, silicones that coat your hair without nourishing it, and consist of 80% water.

A shampoo bar is more concentrated, plastic-free and better for your hair and the planet. One bar replaces on average three plastic bottles of shampoo.

A 65g shampoo bar lasts approximately 90 washes with normal use, which is around 2 to 3 months. That is comparable to two to three plastic bottles of shampoo.

Keep it dry between washes on a bamboo soap dish so it dries quickly and lasts as long as possible.

For normal to oily hair we recommend our Shampoo Bar Balance & Deep Cleanse. With basil, lemon and rosemary it cleanses thoroughly and restores scalp balance without drying it out.

Yes. Our shampoo bars are free from sulphates, silicones, parabens and synthetic fragrances, the most common causes of scalp irritation. Instead we use mild plant-based cleansers derived from coconut oil. Your scalp stays balanced and your hair feels soft and healthy after washing.

The Avocado Conditioner Bar softens and detangles hair after washing with a shampoo bar. It contains avocado oil, shea butter and vitamin B5 that smooth the hair cuticle and leave hair supple.

Whether you need it depends on your hair type. Fine hair often does well without it, while dry or thick hair benefits greatly from the extra nourishment.

Wet your hair thoroughly. Rub the bar directly through your hair or across your palms until lather forms. Massage the lather into your hair and scalp, then rinse well with lukewarm water. Your hair may need an adjustment period of 2 to 4 weeks as your scalp adapts.
