Natural reed diffusers use a fragrance liquid made from essential oils and a natural carrier, without synthetic fragrances or chemical accelerants. Reed or wooden sticks absorb the liquid and slowly release the scent into the air. At Nature Bar we use exclusively pure essential oils, free from synthetic additives.
For most people, yes. Synthetic fragrances in diffusers can cause headaches, irritation or allergic reactions in sensitive people. Essential oils are milder and give a more natural scent that is not overpowering. Synthetic diffusers also often contain chemical carriers that are undesirable indoors.
The sticks are placed in the bottle and absorb the fragrance liquid by capillary action. The liquid slowly evaporates through the sticks and spreads the scent evenly through the room. The more sticks you use, the more intense the scent. Turn the sticks once a week for a fresh scent boost.
It depends on the size of the room. For a small space up to 20m², 3 to 4 sticks are sufficient. For a larger room, use 6 to 8 sticks. Always start with fewer sticks and add more gradually until you reach your desired scent strength. This lets you control the intensity and extend the life of the diffuser.
With normal use, the reed diffusers last approximately 2 to 3 months. This depends on the number of sticks used, the temperature in the room and air circulation. In a warm or draughty room the liquid evaporates faster. Use fewer sticks for a longer lifespan and a subtler scent.
